Beautiful and comfortable! The log cabin had everything we needed. The beach was clean and enjoyable. The owner was kind and co sideways and made us feel very welcomed. This was our first time here and we will definitely return!

This is our 2nd year at tawas inn resort. We usually book the whole resort for our 8 families. The cabins are very clean, and are equipped with everything you need. Marc was great, always available for any requests or needs we had!! Amazing customer service throughout the whole booking process definetly recommend staying at this resort. The kids always love coming as well as there is 2 swing sets lakeview, and a playground in the back, and a box full of sand toys. Looking forward to booking every summer with Marc!

Overall, wonderful place to stay at. Me and my family have been going here for 4 years now. The owner is very friendly, there is hot coffee in the office every morning. Grills are available, but I recommend bringing your own or getting one from the nearby Walmart. Rooms are either nice bungalows (I have not rented one), but the log cabins are great. Cozy cabins with a kitchen, two bedrooms and bathrooms, a TV, and table out front. Going into town is a great experience for all. There is a beautiful view of Lake Huron, and even a staircase leading from the beach to the lake. It is nice and quiet, so you can just chill out and enjoy the lake. The area leading into the lake could use some work (very rocky) but once you get past that, it's nice and smooth sand. Around four feet for a while, and the current is usually not too strong. There is a fire pit and a deck to watch the lake from. There are life jackets for the little ones if you ask. Cans go in the shed near the office and every day or so the owner recycles them. Great vacationing spot, 9.5/10.

Just stayed at the Tawas Inn for the weekend and had an excellent stay. The room was nice and cozy overlooking the lake. The property has a cool beach area with a patio to chill. The location is prime. It's right in-between downtown and Tawas Point State Park.

We love coming here every Memorial and Labor Day with our extended family. The cabins are rustic, and fit our families well. There is a small beach, lake access, and two small playgrounds that our kids love to play on, plus plenty of space to run around (we even hit baseballs and play with stomp rockets in the open space). There's also a nice deck with picnic tables and a fire pit to gather around in the evening. Marc has always been super accommodating, and makes sure we have everything we need!

Cabin was very clean and had everything you need to make your stay comfortably. the owners are amazing friendly people who go out of their way to make sure you have a good time. They are very kid friendly here my 5 and 13 year old loved the place and Mark had several beach games and toys that we borrowed for a few hours. We loved the area so much that we plan on returning next year and we will be staying here when we do.

Stayed here over the weekend for a big family celebration and we all had a great time! Mark the owner is so friendly and accommodating, always asking if we needed anything or if he could do anything, he truly is an exceptional host. The cabins are rustic but had everything we needed for 2 adults and 2 kids. And the outdoor space is simply amazing, we spent most of our time in the yard or on the decks by the water. We can't wait to go back next year!
